Welcome!

Web accessibility is an amazing area for research in computer science because it offers a unique combination of systems, artificial intelligence, and HCI with a real problem to solve that, if solved, could dramatically improve information access for a large group of web surfers.  In this blog, I'll highlight some of the latest web accessibility research both from the WebInSight group and others and offer insights into the problems that most need addressing.

Some of my first posts will concentrate on the work that I've done as part of the WebInSight project and discuss why I believe they're important. As this blog moves forward I hope to bring in other contributors. Thanks for reading and stay tuned...
